Last year, whilst out photographing for “Back Doon the Watter” I met Matt, Margaret, Allan, Anna, Roman, Alan, Sharon & Cara, an extended family from Cumbernauld whose tradition down generations has seen them holidaying along the Clyde Coast with their campervans. Sadly Matt, who was the oldest family member, passed away just after that initial meeting. Over the September weekend, it was great to meet up with them again in Millport and share the completed work. We talked a lot about that day we met at Ardrossan South Beach, and they shared their memories of Matt with me. (Matt is seated in the doorway of the van on the right below).
