UPDATE: The run of “Back Doon the Watter” at the North Ayrshire Heritage Centre has been extended to 29th January 2025

One year on from the original exhibition in Millport, “Back Doon the Watter” is on show on the mainland, at the North Ayrshire Heritage Centre in another of those famous places Doon the Watter, Saltcoats.

As previously, the images are accompanied by films, recorded reminiscences and ambient sounds, and also by displays of images and ephemera from North Ayrshire Heritage Department’s collection.

The Heritage Centre is located on Manse Street, and is open Monday-Wednesday, and Saturday, from 9.30am to 1pm, and 2-4.30.
